The SE2MP launcher

Host or join in a few clicks

Start Space Engineers 2 through the SE2MP launcher. To host, pick the rules and the world, then start the game. Your friends open the Join a friend tab and pick you from their Steam friends, or paste your SteamID.

  • Team play, where everyone builds and flies everything, or strict ownership for PvP
  • Research shared with the host, or unlocked per player
  • Name tags above players, and continue your last save
  • Collect logs in one click if something goes wrong

Good to know

Is this official?

No. SE2MP is a fan-made mod. It is not made, endorsed or supported by Keen Software House.

When is it out?

There is no date yet. Sign up above and you will get one email on the day it is released.

Is it safe to install?

Keen Software House advises against using plugins from unknown sources, for security reasons, and I agree. Only download SE2MP from se2mp.com. If anyone offers it to you somewhere else, don't run it.

What will I need?

Your own copy of Space Engineers 2 on Steam. Everyone in the game needs the same version of the mod.
